This is Gordon who lives in the gourd out on the back patio. I saw him peeking out one day and this is what I got!

Of late I’ve not really found the time to write a substantial photography blog post on findings, new things I’ve tried or even what I’ve been up to! The most significant change in our lives at the moment is that we’ve adopted a new dog into our family, her name is Yuna. She’s a rescue dog around 4 years old from SHARE Rescue and a German Shepherd/Husky Mix. She’s wonderful and couldn’t be happier, but we’ve been spending a lot of time settling her into the family and integrating her with our existing pups. We currently have no foster dogs and may not for some time because I’ve been looking for some extra work on a part-time basis working with animals and hope to become a doggy day carer and home-boarder for dogs and small animals, but we’ll have to see how the application process goes, naturally.

I’ve also recently been asked to get involved in helping set up a dog show for a joint venture with SHARE Rescue and Northern Inuit Society and it will take place in Papplewick, Nottingham at Griffin’s Head Pub on 28th and 29th July this year! Not wasting any time! The dog show is on the Sunday but some stalls and entertainment will be there on the Saturday as well as space for camping which is £5 only per night! I will have a stall set up on Saturday for taking pet portraits - £5 Digital, £10 Print (8x10). On the Sunday I’ll be doing the official photos of the show as well as Prize Winner Portraits. Keep your eyes peeled!
